The initial cost of the tank is only part of the cost of storage – the on-going maintenance cost must be considered to ascertain the “FULL COST”. The Life Cycle Cost Estimator or LCCE assists you in calculating the cost of a storage tank over its service life. By entering basic tank and price information, you can compare the cost of owning an Aquastore® tank to the cost of owning other types of tanks.
The program enables you to consider inflation rates, and proves that the initial cost is not the full cost. Entering today’s prices and anticipated intervals for major maintenance (primarily repainting or resealing) produces the major maintenance cost (Net Present Value “NPV”). In table 2, the initial cost of the tank is included to give a total cost (NPV) of ownership of the different tank type. This program assists you in more accurately comparing tank costs and deriving a more objective estimate. Naturally, we expect Aquastore® tanks to save you money in the long run.
The LCCE is in Excel format and can be downloaded directly from this site (no registration required).
